JESSICA LLOYD
VOCAL SPECIALIST
With over 30 years of private teaching experience and with students ranging from 10 to 80 years old, Jessie has the ability to understand each student’s individual needs and goals in order to help move every singer along the journey to success. With a Master in Music Performance as well as a Bachelor of Education, Jessie’s experiences on stage and in the music classroom combine to create a knowledgeable, supportive, and safe environment for growth. Voice lessons with Jessie are based upon a solid foundation of vocal technique rooted in the classical tradition. But not to worry – she does not think everyone wants to be an opera singer! The technique students focus on is then shaped to be applied to the given genre of repertoire each student is working on. As a professional singer, Jessie has worked in Opera, Jazz, Rock, Country, Folk and World music traditions. As a classroom Music educator, she has taught JK - Grade 12 Vocal Music.
